Italian Colors

Italian Colors BarPoint Isabel in Richmond has been on my bucket list since I moved to San Francisco 20 years ago. FINALLY, I got to meet my friend Linda for a nice walk and some water action for my dogs. It’s such a beautiful place. Afterwards, we met our friend, Debbie, at Italian Colors in Montclair.

Italian Colorsis a delightful Italian restaurant in the back of a strip mall. There is shaded outdoor seating, so I was able to have the dogs join us. The bar area is really nicely done, and the inside space is well organized and with lots of private spaces.

Linda and I chose the Chicken FettucineLinguini and Clams, and as you can see, the dish was packed with plenty of fresh clams. Debbie had the Soked Chicken Breast Fettuccine with mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil in a lemon garlic cream sauce. The flavors were mild, and salt helped enhance the taste.

The service at Italian Colors is outstanding. Even the dogs got great service with a nice big bowl of water. They also enjoyed a few sneaks of fresh, warm bread. If you’re in the Montclair area, Italian Colors is a fine spot. Even happy hour hors d’oeuvres at the bar is worth a visit.
