Lincoln Park Golf Course
There are so many beautiful public golf courses in San Francisco, and Lincoln Park Golf Course is one of them. Set in the hills near 34th and Geary, Lincoln Park Golf Course encompasses The Palace of the Legion of Honor, one of the finest museums in San Francisco, and gives a constant and amazingly rewarding view of the city, ocean, bay, and most of all the Golden Gate Bridge.
Lincoln Park Golf Course is well maintained as well, although we had to deal with muddy spots from the well-needed rain over the past few weeks. Golf fees are reasonable, and more so if you’re a San Francisco resident. Golf carts are old and funky gas machines ($26 rental) but they get the job done. I would next time opt for a cart and walk because, with the cart path only requirement, the distance walking is probably quite similar or even less.
The Lincoln Park Golf Course Bar and Grill is a nice place for a quick snack and beer or a drink after the game with great views of the 18th hole. The Lincoln Park Golf Course Bar and Grill will deliver food to you on the course. The golf shop personnel are very friendly and informative, and their selection of merchandise is quite unique. I used GolfNow to book our reservation – super easy with a mere $9 fee to do so. You pay the fee online, and the green fees at the course.
