Huevos Rancheros at Mojito

Mojito San Francisco

When at the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market in San Francisco, we like to enjoy the wonderful Mexican food at Mojito San Francisco, Tracy DesJardin’s place. (She now also has one at AT&T Park.) Tracy DesJardins grew up in the Central Valley and had a childhood exposed to Mexican cuisine. So, it seemed natural for her to create these quaint Mojito San Franisco restaurants, a far cry from her upscale DesJardin French restaurant in the Civic Center area, a top, renowned San Francisco restaurant.

Carnitas Tostada at Mojito

We always get the same thing. I have a Huevos Rancheros which are served only for brunch, and Dave orders the Carnitas Tostada or Tacos. It’s a great fix of authentic Mexican food in an area of town sparsely populated with Latino food.
